Dakota McMillan (they/them) is a recent graduate of West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria as of April 2025 after working in kitchens and baking for 10 years. As a previous resident of South Carolina and Texas where they had begun their massage schooling, they are grateful to now live and work on the lands of the Lekwungen speaking peoples.
Having healed from a chronic back injury, Dakota is most interested in deep tissue trigger point and myofascial therapy but loves to work in active stretching and relaxation to bring the treatment together. They had completed a case study regarding the effects of myofascial therapy regarding top-surgery scars and would be honored to join your journey of functional healing no matter what stage of healing, acute or chronic. Dakota is passionate and open minded about working with other 2S-LGBTQA+ people, all types of bodies, and anyone seeking acceptance or affirming care regarding alternative lifestyles or hobbies.
In their personal life, Dakota is a queer roller derby athlete and weight lifter. They love going for drives in their convertible when the weather is nice and patrolling thrift stores and yard sales. On a rainy day, you might catch them reading, gaming, or at the arcade.
